I was born in Hawaii and was a typical water baby till the family moved to Sugar Land TX, which is a suburb of Houston when I was five.  Most of my time has been in or around Houston, though I've lived in Northern California -Mendocion County when I was a teen.

I just moved back to Houston from Alaska last year, where I was working for the state's department of tourism managing their web presence.  I also spent summers in the sleepy climbing village of Talkeetna, which is one of the most magical places I've ever been.
